Became a Supporter, lost Sidebar...

When I became a supporter a few minutes ago, my sidebar widgets disappeared.

They are there in the dashboard view, but not the public view.

Thanks for any help and/or suggestions.

I see them. They're at the bottom of the page.

The problem is this post here:

http://shershowcase.edublogs.org/2009/09/08/4th-grade-reading-and-math-assessment/

You're missing the closing div tag at the end of the slideshare code. Open it up for editing, if you;re using the fancy editor with the icons along the top, make sure you;re on the html tab, look for the following code where your embed is:

</embed></object>

and add in a:

</div>
to the end of that.

Hope this helps,

I went in to look at the code and the </div> was there.
So I just deleted it and put it back in and "Yahoo" the sidebar is back on top.

As always, thanks for your fabulous (and prompt) help.

Fred

Not a problem. One thing I will point out is that you may want to consider moving the embeds into the body of the Post by using a '*more' tag and putting the embed afterwards. if you look at your home page, you have a number of embeds down the page. This may cause problems with those who have older browsers or less capable computers. It takes a while for that to load as well.
