Edublogs Campus has new lower prices with unlimited student blogs!

We couldn’t be more thrilled to announce today that we have lowered and changed our prices for our Edublogs Campus packages.

Edublogs Campus allows schools, districts, and universities to have their own private blogging platform powered with the same great features as Edublogs Pro – and then some.

It is almost too embarrassing to write about – but during a recent Edublogs Campus training session, a user asked for an explanation for what all of those icons do in the visual post editor.

I admit, I hadn’t actually played with them all before, and had to do some quick learning for a couple on the fly. Who knew the custom characters tool was there all this time!?

Thanks to my new found custom character button, I can say happy π day everyone! :)

So, here is a quick and complete list of all of the different tools available to you when editing a post:

Twice each year, educator extraordinaire Sue Wyatt puts together an amazing 10 week global challenge for students of all ages and abilities.

Most definitely the largest event of it’s kind, the Student Blogging Challenge has hundreds and hundreds of registered students and classes. The goal of the challenge is to improve students’ global awareness, blogging skills, and online netiquette.

It isn’t to late to join in – students register here and teachers register your classes here.

You don’t have to use Edublogs to participate, and activities will ask students and mentors to visit each others’ blog posts, make comments, and collaborate on 10 weekly challenges!

It is an absolute blast! With loads of learning going on too :)

As we continue on with the current Teacher Challenge on class blogging, preparations are already underway for the next series.

This time, we want to introduce users to as many of the best free web tools as we can!

And that is where you come in. Do you have a favorite web tool of any kind that you would like to share?

We’re looking for guest bloggers to:

Write a post that provides an overview of the tool
Include a “challenge” where readers are encouraged to use the tool and somehow demonstrate the end result
Help answer any questions that might come up from challenge particpants

No need to have a blog or even be an Edublogs user to participate. This would be a great way to help fellow educators from around the globe – and maybe add more twitter followers or blog readers to your list as well. :)
