We asked you how you thought Edublogs Supporter could be improved and you resoundingly said
“I’ve got 3, 5…. a class of 30 blogs and I want to make them all Supporters but it’s too expensive!”
Well, we heard you loud and clear, so we’ve introduced batch Supporter subscriptions, with some pretty stunning discounts!
You can find them under your ‘Supporter’ tab and we hope that they make it much more affordable for you to keep a whole batch of Edublogs for yourself or give an entire class or school Edublogs Supporter status for significantly less than Edublogs Campus would set you back.
So, what are the magic numbers… well:
5 Supporter blogs no longer cost you c.$200 – instead they are just $99.95 – that’s 50% off!
30 Supporter blogs won’t cost you c.$1200 – instead they are just $359.95 – that’s 70% off!
100 Supporter blogs won’t cost you c.$4000 – instead they are just $799.95 – that’s 80% off!
And of course, every Supporter blog can turn off ads on up to 30 otehr blogs – so if you wanted to get your school blogging, a 30 blog subscription could remove ads from 900 student blogs.

Edublog is a great place to look up things and it will mostly help people be organize in everything that they do!
ok so say if we are doing class work on here with a teacher how do we do that……
I have a teacher who would like to make up to 150 blogs ad-free, and could use the 25 GB of storage space that would be included with 5 supporter blogs. She is willing to pay the $99.95 for 5 supporter blogs, but she really doesn’t want to maintain all 5 of them.
If she paid the $100, would you entertain the possibility of a single blog with up to 25 GB of space and the ability to make up to 150 blogs ad-free?
Sure thing – you’d just have to create 4 other blogs and turn them into supporter blogs – then you can make 30 blogs ad free via each supporter blog.
Hope that helps!
James:
Thank you for your rapid response. She is trying to avoid having to maintain 5 separate blogs — she is interested in the 25 GB of storage space (she’s a media teacher), but doesn’t want to spread it out over 5 separate accounts. She would like one super-blog, if you will.
Sorry, that’s not currently possible – but she can just upload stuff on different blogs (she doesn’t have to actively maintain them)
I understand about having supporters provide monetarily to the cause because it takes a lot of behind the scenes work to make all this magic happen.
What I would like to know is, what happens when you have set a blog to the Supporter status, paid via PayPal using a standard credit card account with them, and you see the Supporter tab on the blog in question, but you still are blocked from using Supporter features like Disable Ads, and adding users.
What can I do to ensure that my blog that is paid for gets those features for which I paid?

We have just upgraded bulk for 5 blogs from http:/stpatspara.edublogs.org through paypal. Yet in the bulk upgrade there is no place saying that it has 5 credits and the search is not active for upgrading blogs. Can you help please.
Hi Richard, supporter is normally added to the blog which dashboard you were in when you signed up. Can I get you to give me the details of all your blogs so I can check for you?
Hi Mistea, when you are checking are you in the username account where you signed up for PayPal? Unlike single blog supporter which is based on per blog, batch upgrade is put onto the username.
Also worth checking the information on this page as it tells you how to use your batch credits
I just recently became a supporter , but I obviously missed some fine print, becuase I didn’t realize that it was for only one of my 4 blogs. Is there a way to transfer the supporter status that I have on one blog to a Batch supporter to cover the others as well?
Hi Mrs Sommers, if you can email us at support[at]edublogs[dot]org with all the details we are happy to discuss.
Thanks Sue. I think actually it was just that paypal takes a little while to check etc sometimes. It showed up about 90 minutes after joining. It’s great and means I can encourage others in the school to join!
Hi
I joined up to Edublogs and became a supporter – annual
I did not realize this was for 1 Blog – I have now found that you can bulk buy and have a batch of 5
is it possible to change my plan and become bulk supporter
Hi,
When you purchase a batch of blogs, do they all have to be under the same user name or could I give one to another teacher that has an existing free edublog?
@mrjorgenson They can be any five blogs. Refer to the instructions on this page – http://help.edublogs.org/2009/03/23/how-do-use-your-bulk-upgrades-to-upgrade-blogs-to-edublogs-supporters/
