If you’ve been snouting around the ‘Presentations’ tab in the last few days you might have noticed that there are a whole heap of new themes there, and that every Edublog theme now has fully customisable sidebars - just click on ‘Sidebar Widgets’.

So, try out some new ones, let us know if there are any that have gone that you can’t live without - a few of them *really* had to go - and fill us in on any bugs.
And go customise those sidebars (and in quite a few cases, headers too!).

I’m loving Andreas09 and the sidebar widgets.
My theme, which went so well with my German class blog, has been removed! I can’t remember the name of it, but it was a picture of a guy with a backpack, walking through a train station. It was a perfect “European train station” theme, and this is the blog that accompanies the German class that I teach. None of your other themes really fit, the way this one did. Please put it back on!
Ahhh… I think I know the one you want - it’ll be back soon.
Fasttrack now back :)
I don’t see K2 as an option — but that’s alright. I’m a big fan of the PlainTXT.org themes.
Thank you!
Thank you for bringing back Fasttrack. Ich bedanke mich! Danke! I am so very grateful.
Still working on K2, one of these days :)
I tried putting in some sidebar widgets, but now my sidebar is a underneath bar. The main blog text is centered on the page and has squeezed the sidebar out. I tried undoing the customizing, but the sidebar remains on the bottom of the screen.
Hiya,
That was actually an IE issue - one of your photos was too wide and IE dumped the sidebar to the bottom - I’ve resized it now so everything is back to normal :)
The forums are a great resources for these kinda Qs / issues too.
I am a fifth grade teacher and i have a hard time finding cool kid themes. The “Girls Suck” theme was cool, but it actually said “girls suck” when you put your mouse on the picture. I would love to see more kids themes.;-)
Good point, I’ll see what I can do. Thanks for the feedback, ’tis much appreciated!
Thanks for the new themes! I’ll take Digg 3 Columns for now–until I can learn to design my own, using the best of many designs. It’s an interesting process choosing a design–what you’re not willing to let go of and what you are. Function wins!
thanx for the new themes i luv them they show how much life is omportant to me
I am currently using the Jakarta 1.1 theme (a theme I no longer see on the list of themes). I am thinking about changing it to a different theme — one with a header that can be customized.
Do you have any suggestions on which one I can choose that would not be too much of change and upset the work I have already done? In other words, which ones would be the easiest for the transition?
Also, if I do not like the new theme, can I still go back to my current them of Jakarta 1.1 even though it is not currently offered?
Thank you.
