Lynsey, sorry haven't been able to get back to this... have you tried posting the applet in the html section?

Nate, cpommenst feeds may have changed (certainly not deliberately though) post specifics to teh community area and we'll see if we can help.

Cheers, James

nag nag nag (best screechy monty python voice on) - nope, sorry, James, code gets gobbled. I've had a look in the WP help wiki and there seems to be a few threads there. I've also tried posting an applet - worked perfectly pre-upgrade, now won't even save it without chewing it up. Applets are valid xml (aren't they?) - I've seen other wp blogs running them. I note the option to import (I'm assuming this means plugins) has vanished too...

Sorry James, I'll stop nagging - I'm having this vision of you with your knotted hankie... ;)

Hi James
There's something unpleasantly buggy with images - if I put in a link to my image server, then save and continue editing, then save and continue editing, then save and continue editing, each time a little more gets chewed out of the link. Eg width x height go. Align goes. Alt goes. Eventually the image itself goes leaving . Bizarreamundo. The new upgrade has generally played badly with existing images and formating of text around thereof of previously published blogs. Naughty mat for upgrade.
